(Larry Santiago Productions, starring Lolita Rodriguez, Marlene Dauden and Eddie Rodriguez, screenplay by Jose F. Sibal, music by Restie Umali)

THE THEME SONG:

SAAN KA MAN NAROROON
(Music by Restie Umali)
(Sung by Ric Manrique, Jr.)

Saan ka man naroroon, sinta
Pag-ibig kong wagas ang iyong madarama.
Kailan pa man sa iyo'y 'di lilimot
Pusong uhaw sa iyong pag-irog.

Saan ka man naroroon, sinta
Pangarap ko'y ikaw, 'pagka't mahal kita
Asahan mong sa habang panahon
Alaala kita, saan ka man naroroon.

(Instrumental)

Asahan mong sa habang panahon
Alaala kita, saan ka man naroroon.

Asahan mong sa habang panahon
Alaala kita, saan ka man naroroon.

I've seen this movie and it was a wonderful experience. The appeal of black and white is an art in itself. Excellent story, beautiful cinematography, direction and acting are superb. Larry Santiago (a.k.a. Lauro Pacheco) was a better director than his brother CIRIO, in my own opinion. Visually, his films are more artistic and memorable than that of Cirio's. Remember Marlene Dauden playing a dual role in MILAROSA? I can't reacall if Marlene won an award for that film, but it was one of her best performances and Larry's more memorable films.

Ngayon ko lang nalaman na si Lauro Pacheco pala ay si Larry Santiago din? Thanks JM for this info! Mas nakilala kasi si Lauro Pacheco sa mga drama, unlike Cirio na mas nakilala sa mga action films. Sayang, di ko ito napanood, meron pa kaya nitong kopya?
