  1. Thanks po ng marami for posting this! It's so nostalgic...Naaalala ko tuloy when i was a kid. Sa Ultravista Cinema ko po ito napanood here in Malabon.I was six years old then.Hope to see more old Vilma films & other fantasy/horror films of the 70's. Thanks again and God bless.

  6. I've been tracking and looking for a copy of this film but no luck! Thanks for posting the article, James! Pinoyhorror films from the 70's are one-of-a-kind and can beat those Hollywood films from the 70's. Hey rarepinoyfilms, Ultravista Cinema in Malabon no longer exists. Malabon is my hometown.

  7. Hi Ronald! Yeah Ultravista Cinema is no longer there. The last film that I saw there was Nanette Medved's Darna during the 1990's. Madumi at double showing na ang Ultravista that time.It saddens me kasi I've seen some fantasy/horror films there when I was a kid. Movies like Lipad. Darna, Lipad, Si Popeye atbp., Anak ng Asuwang & a lot more.Sayang no, the films that I mentioned no longer exist.

  8. Just like "Lipad, Darna, Lipad", wala na rin yatang copy nito. Wala na kaya nito kahit sa CCP or sa Mowelfund c/o Direk Nick de Ocampo?

  9. Hi rarepinoyfilms! Its a restaurant na yata today, Ultravista Cinema. Like you if we didn't catch the regular showing of films, Ultravista Cinema is our last resort along with Leonor & Estrella. Leonor & Estrella, are just walking distance in our house. The films that you mentioned too bad, all of them no longer exists! I wish I could see again ZOOM ZOOM SUPERMAN, SI POPEYE ATBP., SUPERGIRL & ELEKTRIKA KASI EH.

James, I've been following Nick De Ocampo's PELIKULA AT LIPUNAN before, wala na yata tlga.

  11. Let's not loose hope! Sana nga po matagpuan na rin ang mga movies na tulad nito.I had a feeling na makikita ito someday, pero for sure hindi dito kundi sa ibang countries talaga. Buti na lang I have friends like Eric cueto of the Official Darna website and Allen Ajero na masisigasig maghanap ng mga old treasures ng Philippine Cinema! But in the meantime, buti si sir James naman isini-share sa'tin ang mga movie stills na matuturing ding treasures sa movielandia! Thanks po!
